We have weekly meetings, which are held on the Tuesdays we have class at 7
pm in Saunders 409, showing new and old anime, and every semester we hold
a 48 hour non-stop AnimeFest. You know you want in on this!

NEW SEMESTER
Welcome Welcome, one and all, to another semester of VTAS! You've waited all summer, eagerly anticipating this moment! So sit back, relax and enjoy!
Vote Night Sept 1st
At the start of each semester, we all gather round the ole projector, and fire up the vote tape, in hopes of picking a stellar line up for the rest of the semester. We've had some good choices (Ye old Code Geass, Naruto, and Bleach come to mind) and some bad ones (Cromarti High, anyone?) but thats the risk you run.
Vote night is this Tuesday, in Saunders 409, at 7pm. IF you dont show up and vote, you can't complain about the shows. Honest. Its in the rules, somewhere...maybe....
New Officers
To our new Treasurer, AV Guy, and Webmaster: welcome. It'll be up to the new guy to update the officer page, but from the old webmaster, and the current officers of VTAS: thanks for answering the call. You'll be underappreciated, heckled, and poked at from time to time, but its ok, you get access to the library for free. Isn't it nice to have priorities?
On a related note, we are still looking for a SGA rep...
Mu Epsilon Kappa Honor Cords
Its a little known fact, but as of last year, VTAS became the Delta Nu Charter Chapter of Mu Epsilon Kappa National Anime Fraternity. Thats right, everyone in the club can put down "Frat member" on their resumes. Last semester, we got Honor Cords, and tho the webmaster failed to get one, they were awesome. Keep an ear out to see if this semester we get another shot at some.
AnimeFest XLII TBA
Despite a bad room assignment last semester, ANIMEFEST XLI was great. So, as usual, we're doing it again. Soon as the web-team has a date and location, you, fellow members, will as well. Till then, pe patient, you'll get your 48 hours of bliss.

Random Events
Nothing is set yet, but every semester we tend to get together and do stuff. This semester will be no different. Please feel free to Email Thomas, the club president if you can think up anything.
Also, there is some event comming up involving a local Girl Scout troop. More details to arive once I've recieved them
Conventions :
No convention trips are set up yet, but keep an eye on this part of the page. There are a few in November that are possiblities, like NekoCon, among others.
Kabuki Socials
Without fail, every semester, we go to Kabuki's. The date is to be determined, but it will happen, fear not.
